APCs bring in $10 million in revenue
Corona Post Office Customer Service Advisor Lorraine Alvarez shows just how easy APCs are to use.
Can someone say revenue-generator? On Friday, Aug. 6, revenue from the Automated Postal Center (APC) passed the $10 million mark — quite an accomplishment for a program that’s little more than three months old.
And if generating revenue isn’t enough, these self-service wonders are winning industry awards for their state-of-the-art design and ease of use. Kiosk Magazine recently awarded the APC Best Retail Kiosk, citing customer convenience and reliable access to a broader range of postal products, services and information.
Currently there are 864 APCs installed — a number that will grow to more than 1,250 by the end of August. Reports from our customer service advisors say customers are using the APC — and loving it!
Want to learn more about APCs and the deployment schedule? Just go to Blue, type “APC” in the address block and it will take you directly to the APC Web page.
